We were contacted by the family’s realtor to inquire about financing for the duplex renovation for sale. With the property held in an irrevocable trust we needed to have the trust reviewed, and get acknowledgement from the beneficiaries before we could proceed. They also needed to negotiate relocation terms with the existing tenants. Once everything was in order, we proceeded with the rehab loan in the name of the trust, and held back sufficient funds with our servicing company to cover the monthly debt service.
